Yeah. No 3rd party apps unless you use ADB. That is AT&T's stance on ALL Android handsets. Fortunately enough both the Aria AND the Galaxy S have been rooted so it really doesn't matter. Root the buggers, remove the AT&T bloatware and enable 3rd party sources. End of problem.

True... not that it really matters - if you want a good Android phone, I'm not sure why you would want AT&T as opposed to Verizon, unless you're one of the few people who get better service from AT&T in your area... early upgrade situations aside.
