The Asus ZenFone 2 has been met by the consumer market with open arms. Being the first ever device to include 4GB of ram this phone is a steal at $199 off contract! Other than the 4GB of ram this phone is packing some pretty amazing specs. In fact other than the subpar camera this phone gets some pretty good reviews.
This phone is looking even more attractive to anyone who loves to mod their devices. Dev "Shakalaca" has discovered a pretty risky bootloader unlocking method after spending some time with the device and ADB mode. The best part about the bootloader unlock is the fact that it doesn't need you to communicate with ASUS. The root process should also work with the latest update for the device. This does require you to be rooted, then run a few simple commands to achieve an unlocked bootloader!
