its pretty much guaranteed that you will get a like new referb. Nothing wrong with that, they will replace any part of the phone that has physical imperfections and do more tests to the phone that they did when it came off the assembly line brand new. My sister has had to file a claim about 4 times for her env2 phone and they have all looked flawless. she just keeps loosing them lol

well... it was in the original box with the cable/charger battery sdcard paperwork exc., when you get a refurb they send you the test results as a printout and it comes in a white verizon box with nothing but the phone, no battey cover or anything

i have dealt with VZW for a few years... had them since they were airtouch... i'v gone through a few phones

Asurion insurance phones will never come in a Verizon box. The env2 you received was a warranty replacement phone, not an insurance claimed phone. VZW replacements have no battery or back, nor do they contain charger, manual, etc.

Asurion will either ship the phone new if in stock, Worry Free Guarantee returns from Verizon (returned within 30 days of purchase with no issues. Restored to factory settings and all original paperwork and cables included), or a refurbished phone. An Asurion refurb will come in an Asurion box with new battery, charger, etc., but not all equipment will be from the OEM (charger may say Asurion on it, etc.).

ok yep the only insurance phones i have gotten were new. the warranty ones from vzw are the white box ones
