I waited for the Froyo update
and then I rooted my: Droid 1
Rom: Shadow Rom v0.01 Stable build
(it's a port from the CyanogenMod Rom V6 source code)
Theme: Simple Dark Red
Kernel: SlayHer

Shadow Rom has a lot of features. You can change the color on your notification bar and drop down window (and text). You also get access to Spare Parts Settings. Plus you have the option of blocking ads, adjust boot animation settings, lock screen music control, allow install of new apps to s.d. card etc. etc. etc.
I like it a little better than CyanogenMod 6 because it has a few more features.
I've been on Cyanogen 6, Shadow Rom, ChevyNo 1-Simply Stunning, and SlayHer's Liquid Frozen Yogurt.

What Roms, and Themes are you all running and what do you like about them?

Droid 1....p3droid lv1250 kernel....UD8.0 with my Cold Fusion theme.

I like the customization ability with UD.

Install/remove built apps...block ads...change bootanimations...change fonts all with the click of a button.

Music toggle controls....

And not to mention his thing flies on my phone...

Rooted, running ShadowRom with ColdFusion theme and the Chevy LV 1.25 kernel.

I like the bit of customizability I have in Shadow, but would like more. I really like the lockscreen music controls.

I like the looks of the ColdFusion theme but wish it would actually install/overwrite FB and Twitter clients (every time I delete them via Root Manager, they get reinstalled automatically before I can put the ColdFusion versions in). I also wish it could automagically theme other applications, but yay for wishes.

My droid is super stable, super fast, and has awesome battery life with this ROM, Kernel, and the right settings in SetCPU.

I'm considering trying Chevy's SS 4.8 when it lands. We'll see. I'm lazy by nature so there are going to have to be compelling features for me to do the setup work again.

I wish I knew what all this meant. my friend rooted my phone. He said I use bugless beast 0.4 - although I have no idea what this means.

dolpns13 - I highly suggest that you either ask your friend to teach you about it or read some info on this website about recovery, ROMs, kernels, and such. There are a lot of fans of BB but personally I think it is very outdated and one of the ROMs with the least options and hacks. I suggest CM or UD. Read around...
