Apps that want personal Info!

What do you all think about using Apps that want personal Info? I am a fan of the comedian Adam Carolla and recently he put out a new App BUT It wants to use my personal info! What are the Real Dangers? Any help would be appreciated!

the only danger in giving these apps personal info (name, location, phone number, email, etc I'm assuming) is that some of them send it to other companies and use it to send you spam

Kommifornia state law prohibits solicitation of any kind. Take down the info u get from them if u live in kommifornia.
