Apps randomly close without FC

Factory reset and flash Sourcery Rom. Its got excellent memory management capabilities and built in Theme/Kernel/Bootanimation Changer.

If you do, flash 2.0 first then 2.2 and gapps. Its a great Froyo based stable rom.

Hmm... That maybe why I'm in a boot loop. I flashed 2.2 before I saw your post. Downloading 2.0 right now to try that out.

Side note, I read a comment that the project isn't being developed anymore. Is that accurate?

Yes its accurate.

Its no longer in development although still supported by developers and users. Although out of development for a couple of month is has 5 month old features that most other Roms still don't offer.

Yes, 2.0 first and then 2.2 - go over and play with the settings, there is a lot of them.
