Apps Newbie

I have the Droid X. I am looking for apps for local and other television stations; CBS, NBC, CNN and several others. Does anyone know where to get them for free or do I need pay for it.

in the market there are a few. its not a tv but more like a web app for news update. I use MSNBC and there's CNN
