Apps just show up

Over the past couple of months I have noticed that apps are appearing on my home screens with out me installing them. When I go into my apps these do not exist. How are these getting on my phone and how do I get them to stop showing up? I have a RAZR that is up to date.

You have installed an app that is spamming you. You need to install

Run both apps to find out which app you installed is causing this
