Too bad it will be in Apple's proprietary format. I won't buy that garbage. (Garbage being Apple's format; not the Beatles catalog, which I'd buy all of in a heartbeat.)

You dont have to purchase any music it in proprietary format now.

There is also rumors of them announcing a streaming music service. I am still convinced its the Beatles announcement though.

Haha, you know what I mean Hook. I love the old silly "let's just sing about girls and love" boy-band style bop songs... But it doesn't get better than the new (later years) Beatles twisted storytelling LSD inspired musical madness... oh I love those albums...

EDIT: Ehhh never mind, this is a nice announcement. Too bad iPeople will make money off it. Still, good old vinyl records are the only way to listen...

There's some treats today from iTunes. They have their whole Washington D.C. concert. I have bits and pieces of that concert but this is all cleaned up and sounds, well, it sounds better then I expected. It's about 20 minutes or so long, worth looking at.
