the article reads like an editorial full of opinions not facts.

I'm not sure I agree with all points in the article, but it's thought provoking. Thanks for sharing @pc747

What struck me in the article is the one thing I always applauded Google for and that was being willing to go outside the Android platform. They played their cards we there because I remember at one time saying how I wish I could use iTunes on my Android phones.

Coming from the iPhone in 2009, the iTunes store then was leaps and bounds better than what Google had. Yet Apple made their software exclusive, which was well within their rights.

Google played it smart so now at a time when people may have moved from Android to Apple, many of them still prefer the Google software for several of life's applications. That means that even when Google loses they win.

I think they both win and I'm totally okay with it..it's great using all Google apps on my iPhone. I use Google photos on both phones but only upload from my Android...and manually manage on iOS what I want..you can find so many options for storage just I feel some peeps are just lazy or don't care .. I see it all the time.. Pay no attention then wonder why storage is full or something is not working properly... recently helped a friend set up new iPhone last backup was 134 weeks ago... Lmao...
