I just wish I could remove apps easier sometimes...like I have no desire to have Amazon MP3 but I've tried a few times (honestly never devoting more than 5 minutes) to remove it with no avail...I hate pre-loaded crap.

get a file manager and go delete the .apk file from your phone. Only way to get rid of that.

Quality should be based on star rating, and I'd think low-quality would be less than 3 stars. However I rarely install an app less than 4.

Now, that I think of it $25 to submit each app might be a good idea...or maybe even $1 to submit an app. I doubt this'll happen any time soon as apple and google are in a pissing contest over how many apps they have.

I don't see how this is much better than Motorola Media Link. I still have to sit at a computer to use it, and it doesn't auto-synchronize music and all that.

It's nice having a way to add ringtones, but I can do that with Ringdroid. Pretty everything on here I can do on the phone or another app/website on the computer.

The only feature I would love to have is filter by rating, I rarely ever download anything thats below 3 stars so I would love an option that hides everything below three stars or sorts them in descending order (would be a better choice).

To all the anti-porn people: in this day and age porn is everywhere and teenagers are going to see, deal with it. Seeing a naked man/woman isnt the end of the world, it wont harm them in anyway, if theyre boys they will find anyway possible to watch porn. Im a 24 year old guy and I remember installing a keylogger on my parents computer when I was about 14 so I could change the parental controls so I could look at porn.

In short: if you dont want your kid to see anything you deem "unsightly" dont give your kid access to the internet because no matter what you try to stop it theyll circumvent it, especially dont give them a smart phone.

How hard would it be for Google to make a alternative marketplace for the stuff?

Mikradle? He makes docking stations.

Anyway if it's someone else, don't post it here. We don't want a list of porn apps hosting in our Forum. Find another place to discuss it.

I have no idea how hard it would be, but it would be unnecessary since the point of the android market is to allow ANYONE to submit ANYTHING (within reason of course). If this did happen Im sure there would be a massive outcry about filtering/censoring apps (and a lot of comparisons to the apple market). Large companies tend to satisfy the majority and not the minority (im sure you already knew that), Im sure out of everybody that has an android smart phone less than a quarter care about porn apps in the market.

Close, its called MiKandi and its available in the market. I tried it out and its nothing special IIRC.

LOL, speaking of junk apps...

Saw new on the market today (I saw it today, don't know when it was uploaded)....for $1.99 you can download a Circuit City locater!!!

I don't care who you are, that there is FUNNY. I mean, that app has to be some sort of joke or a scam (probably both).
