App update stuck downloading on EVO

I have the Sprint EVO, and I have an app that is stuck at 7% when downloading an update for that app. It is the Farkle Free game app. I had a notification that several apps had updates, and everything went fine except this one. I clicked to download the update today around 3pm and it is still stuck at 7%. It has drained my battery! I have been to settings, applications, manage apps, all and then the app, hoping that the clear data would be available as I saw this fix on another forum thread, but the clear data button was grey. I have taken the battery out and waited, then turned it back on, and it is still in the notifications at 7%. I have tried uninstalling the app, and that didn't help either. So, I have reinstalled the app just in case I need it on the phone in order to fix the problem. Any help is much appreciated!!!

Have you tried finding the app in the Market and clicking "cancel," if it's available?
