So I just got my new Droid X yesterday and I want to know what good, free apps there are to get :D. Are there any that'll help improve battery life? And I heard there is a way to improve your cameras quality?

Also, the guy at Verizon told me I can watch Netflix on my phone, can anyone tell me how to do that? :D

There are TONS of "must have app lists", app suggestions etc in the Applications subforum.

As for battery life -- if you want to improve battery life then analyze your specific usage and address your battery hogs. Don't count on one-size-fits-all solutions whether they're apps, ROMs, kernels, whatever.
