app on wifi. help

    hey guys have a question for you. at my work I now have free wifi and I downloaded tubemate to download YouTube videos but I can't when I connect the wifi. because YouTube is blocked. can anybody help and give me tips and advice to get around this? thanks Scott.

    Welcome to the forum Scott

    You would need to talk to your IT people as there is obviously a reason for it being blocked, probably by the company firewall.

    Agreed... Many companies do not appreciate their employees viewing Youtube, or surfing the web when they are supposed to be working, so any internet access to such things are usually blocked.

    I have known people to have keys they were not supposed to have, which gave them access to the 'computer room' where there was open access to internet sites, they would do a little work, then sneak off to play for an hour or more.
    If I were the owner, there would be a few looking for a job the next day.
