apk edit

hi i was wondering how to take an apk decompile edit some stuff and then recompile but i have NO idea what i need any help is appreciateed

there's endless threads on this, a search or two would be wise.

In a nutshell, if you just want to get in to your apk once it's on your pc, use 7-zip (freeware) to access the files within, take them our and replace them. It's pretty easy, in fact I can take an apk off the phone to the pc, insert the edited files, put in an update zip and have it on the phone ready to install in about 4 minutes.

Get a routing that works for you.

I did run a couple of searches (here), with no luck. I tried "edit apk", "decompile", etc. If I missed the obvious phrase, please steer me in the right direction.

I did finally find a thread over at xda.

Downloaded apk but it said I needed java...installed java but it says that java isn't there can I run apkmanager on a windows?

Download and install java JDK, and you need to set the environmemtal variables path for jave
Then when you run the APKMgr script, it'll load up
