Not yet... Got the zip file downloaded... It was in sdcard/download and I tried to copy it into the system/app folder, can't do it because it's a read only file...

Also the blurcamera.apk in system/app, I wasn't able to modify it when I selected permissions..

In root explorer in the system app folder you gotta change permissions to rw , tap the icon in the top right.

Has anyone that's not running the liberty rom tried the liberty toolbox off the market? It has a crap ton of downloadable tweaks such as the aosp cam and 2d gallery. I'm just curious because if it works it would make life a lot easier in regards to changing up the camera .apks

Start terminal type su ,hit enter for superuser permision, type apextoolbox enter , youll see lists of what you can do should be under blur apps, i'd remove the one you have then install aosp ,, just look in fabs thread on apex he talks about terminal,

You gotta be doing something wrong, in on apex 1.4.1 and the camera.apk
In my package was copied right from my active system, If it was the liberty camera.apk the icon would have yellow in it...

As far as installing the aosp camera from apex tool box, there is no option to for installing
The aosp camera, unless fab yourself another updated version for 1.4.1...

Just go to system/app and rename your existing camera.apk camera.bak

Again, system/app, top right in corner change to r/w mode.
Long press existing camera.apk make sure the permissions match copy new cam to
The folder,
