So, not to be hateful, but it seems none of the devs (aside from Hashcode, luv u dude) seem to kick it here. Where is a good place to keep up on these other ROMs? (AOKP and Gummy)

Not sure about APKP but TeamGummy is seems to be most active on Rootzwiki.

Just to be sure. If I install one of these roms, do I still need to unlock my Droid 4? (It's still Verizon Locked ATM) And do these roms already support the GSM radio? I have a GSM sim card just waiting to be inserted in my Droid 4.

Idk about the gsm radio, but by "locked" i assume you mean unrooted?

You do need to root to install safestrap, and safestrap installs the roms. As far as I know, any rom you install installs rooted.

Ok I had the cm9 good put. In aokp supersick like the custom but my app like imobster and others they all format. The wrong way. Wiped it 3 times installed then did gapp but still same stuff anyhelp

No, I meant Sim locked. If I insert a non verizon sim, the phone displays the following message: "This sim card is from an unknown source"
