You were wondering just how long it would take to get a vanilla build of Android 4.2.2 on the Verizon Galaxy S4. The answer is not long. Developer "BMc08GT" has already released his build of AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) for the VZW Galaxy S4. Not only does this Rom totally debloat your device and free up tons of storage space on your device, it also adds plenty of customization features. This rom is absolutely Unofficial. The Rom is basically untested since BMC does not even own this device. He has been updating this rom pretty frequently, and has managed to squash many bugs, however there is no list of working and not working.

To install this rom you will want to make sure that you are rooted and running a recovery with LOKI enabled. You can grab the LOKI enabled TWRP from the goo manager app after rooting your device. Once rooted with recovery simply flash the rom and gapps.
