Has anyone else bootlooped coming from b35 to b38 with just a cache/dalvik wipe? Is anyone else on .604?

well it did for me on 604 from B35, it would be nice to get some info on what system version everyone is using since it isnt mentioned in the OP. Also, is this rom compatible with safestrap? Does anyone have a link to safestrap that actually works with the DX?

You don't use bootstrap with this rom. Recovery is built into the power menu. If your on build 35 Just long press the power button and select reboot then select recovery and wipe cache and flash build 38.1 followed by gapps.

There is no safestrap for DROIDX

Oh yeah thought he meant bootstrap but like brad said there's no safestrap for dx. If your bootlooping check your md5 maybe you got a bad download.

Thats correct if you use it you'll most likely have to sbf. Just use your power button to get in recovery.

So I flashed B38 fresh today on stock 604 and it bootlooped again :( any ideas?

Did you make sure your md5 matches? You could have a bad download. Sometimes it can take several minutes for it to boot up did you wait long enough?

Havent checked the md5, will do that later. Are you running 604 or 621 with it working?

No im not but i know it works on 604/621. You probably have a bad download. You can get the md5 checker app from the playstore or use a file manager like Astro file manager to check your md5.
