anyway to wipe droid of tracking, phone, capabilities?

I had a guy at work give me a phone he found at his other job (cleaner for a club) I call the insurance to tell them I found a device they proceeded to tell me they didn't want it and to keep it. This was 6 months ago and it was an htc incredible and I am using it as a music player for the gym.... just my experience.

Turn on airplane mode. Kills all wireless capabilities.

Ill call and ask again. If they do than they can have the watery droid, otherwise i'll just keep it for my personal mp3 player

I don't think they require the old phone but I may be wrong . I think they just black list the esn on non returned phones
