Hey does anyone all freeze able apps, without messing it up, on the incredible 2 or have a link?

That thread I think has a list of apps, although for the Thunderbolt, most apply to the DINC2 as well.

I've heard that many inc2 owners have used z4root. Although its not permanent, it works.

I'm using temp root still because I haven't heard of how to get perm root yet. I'm using the command prompt way.

S-OFF has basically been released (public beta). Just did it on my phone. Linux only at the moment, but you can use a LiveCD to get it.

Are there instructions on doing this from Linux? I have my Ubuntu Live CD running and I've moved the alpharevx file and extracted it to the desktop...

Beta meaning the process to get root is in beta, not a neat one click package. But it's legit, once you get S-OFF, you can root away forever. :) At least in Froyo.

I have s off on my inc2 and there is nothing wrong with it. And I have a debloated gb that works with s off
