Anyone Voice Dialing w Blueant Q1 on Froyo? Or a Q2 for that matter.

If I have the Q1 activate the voice command and say call so and so it will do it but the Q1 shuts off! I'm talking powering down.

I've had it work, but then it isn't that hot on the recognition (heard that's an issue if the earpiece isn't aligned just so). To be fair, I haven't programmed the 8 speed dials, but I thought it would work better with Froyo update to support BT dialing. Of course, I haven't updated the Q1 firmware in some time.

Just flash Sapphire 1.0 and couldn't get it to work.

I'm also thoroughly annoyed that they STILL haven't come out with a firmware updater compatible with Win7 64bit.

No problem, you say, just use the Q1 app. well, that hasn't been updated for Froyo!

I had hopes but no cigar.

So I gave up and ordered the Blueant Q2 that will keep up to 2000 contacts in its own memory and voice dial as a stand alone unit.

I downloaded the Froyo and ran the update myself. so far its all very good. The only quirks are the free screen time out toggle app I had would not run so I got another one that did. and the Q1 will voice dial and power down before the caller can answer.
