Anyone tried the app RAM Expander (SWAP) ?

I found this app by accident. Not sure why, but for some reason I decided to Google 4GB RAM Android and I saw this through a link on XDA Forums, a 4 page thread of people bashing the app. However, the app's rating is 4.1/5.

There's a free version to check compatibility, but the app itself costs about $9. I've only downloaded the free version, and supposedly, it works with the MAXX, but I haven't purchased the app and fully tested it.

Does anyone here have any experience with it? Comments? Complaints?

I really don't trust app ratings that much as there are ways for Dev's to "inflate" their ratings. If its being "bashed" on XDA, there is probably a very good reason for it.
