Skype does work if you get the hacked version from xda forums. Someone posted already about this in the forums here.

I used oovoo on my Bionic from my phone to a friends computer. Seemed to work well. Some audio and video hiccups from time to time.
I was on WiFI.

The modded-version of Skype works brilliantly on my Bionic - first time/every time. Just be sure to pull down the modded version and to get the settings right.

Use the talk app in the app drawer. Works great with another person that has it.
