Any way possible to get the Olympics on droid?

Just as the title says.... If we can watch it on the computer could we watch it on the Droid?

Depends on the feed. If it's flash based, No.

its times like these where I wish Sling would come up with a player for Android. I heard they were working on it but they don't really release any info until the product is out. I loved Slinging on my Winmo phones prior to the Droid.

it uses Microsoft silverlight and there is a linux version for it too

There's a couple newsfeed and schedule apps in the Market. Search for "Olympics"

Sling does have an apparently in beta.. rumored to be in the $30 price range when released.

If you have a tuner card on a pc somewhere, you might be able to use the Orb software to stream the feed to your phone. I think you can even set it up as a web interface if you don't wanna spend the cash on the app.
