    Hi all,

I've checked on the internet and throughout this entire forum to see if there is any new news concerning game development for Android devices. I know Google is looking to step up the quality and quantity of games in the Android Market but I have yet to see any news aside from that. Does anyone have any info?

Haven't, but I'm on my way now! I'm hoping (especially after seeing Raging Thunder II) that major support starts to happen for the MDroid.

Yeah, that was really good reading. Still looking for actual Game Developers Conference news tho... I thought with the new OpenGL announcement and the aggressiveness of Google to woo developers we'd have a slew of juicy news concerning games/apps. Sadly, nadda...

Google hooked it up at a android keynote/summit, they gave everyone in the room a droid, if they hadn't won the droid/nexus one raffle only. About the gaming, the new ndk release was pretty good (will be getting better) and gameloft plus a few other popular iphone gaming companies are moving to android, so that is good news. Unity is supporting android soon, possible with its unity 3.0 release.
All in all, I expect a flood of games to be coming within 2 months or so.
