1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

    don't think so since it's still in BETA. you could change it to like "British English" I think, talks slower and maybe easier to understand

    Pretty much anything would be an improvement over the "War Games" voice it has now!

    Give it a while, I'm sure an app will come out. Something like a voicepack for Google Navigation. :)

    It's limited, but yes...

    Tools --> Text-to-speech --> Language.

    Options are VERY limited (American/British English + French, German, Italian and Spanish), but you can select from the list.

    I believe that this changes the DEFAULT text-to-speech - NOT just the nav voice.

    I thought it interesting to note that there is a grayed out option to "Install Voice Data" on that menu. I'm guessing that Google plans to make voice paks available or at least make the option available for developers. Just a guess, but it would make sense.
