I've been playing for a while and have had multiple "winning" scores of 2048, but my real goal has been to put two 2048 tiles together for 4096. I finally did it yesterday! (screen shot below)
Hmm...Not much of a puzzle game player, but you've got me slightly intrigued, as I'm always on the lookout for new games, especially ones that can be played over time and put down quickly.
Like many successful games the basic premise is quite simple: swipe tiles up, down, left, or right to combine any two adjacent tiles with the same value into one tile. (two 2's become one 4, two 4's become one 8, etc)But from that simple premise comes many different ways to play!
What I like about it is that I was able to figure out that basic premise just from your OP. That's why I'm thinking it'll be a good one to pick up for that moment when you just need something quick to do and don't have time for a 3D style game to load up.
