Antivirus?

Hey y'all, was wondering what is considered the best free antivirus for the dx and if it is truly needed if I'm not really doing anything "risky?" Using lookout now

Antivirus is not necessary. The platform Android uses is much different then Windows and while it's not impossible to write a virus, it's unlikely.

Having said that you should still be careful about the apps you install. There has been a couple of incidents of Malware reported. Review your apps carefully before installing.

ok...if you were serious then Hookbill said it all. There is NO NEED for AV or ATK's on your device.

Thanks yeah i was serious.just got this thing a week ago and wondered if out slowed my phone down like a computer... Cool, later outlook

yea, I had AVG and didn't really do much but screw up my install of official gingerbread, resulting in me having to get a new phone
