Anti Virus App

It's me again. Newbie to the Android world and I was just thinking, The DroiD X as all adroid units are small computers. What about a good anti-virus app. Should I be alarmed by not having one? Do you suggest I get one? Please help.

If you download a file and want to check it you can scan your SD card with your computer's AV.

If you still want one there's Lookout. It's free and will do a scan when you add an app. It does more than that; when you get set up on their website you can perform backups and can it can find your phone.

LookOut will run constantly on your device, thus consuming resources and battery life that you DO NOT NEED to use.
