An earlier patent seems to indicate the use of an auto ejection mechanism, but this latest leaked prototype begs to disagree. Still looking for information about the MicroSd Card slot.I want to know if it is in or out. That would help me make the decision to pull the trigger on the GNote5 or stick with my GNote4.

The GNote 5 has also been spotted in Geekbench, particularly the Verizon model SM-N920V. The entry confirms things that we've heard so far, like an Exynos 7420, not 7422, CPU and 4 GB of RAM. Of course, there might be other models available, like one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip and 3 GB of RAM, though hopefully this one doesn't come to pass.

It would seem that it would be spring loaded like any typical run of the mill ink pen is.

What's with the black dashes on the golden bezel in photo 3?

So the Sdcard slot is there. Either that or that is one huge-mongous simcard slot.

It could be a sim card slot. I heard that that is where it is on the Galaxy S6.

Is it that large on the S6? I will have to check. It seems excessive to hold just a simcard.

I am praying for an MicroSD card! I am hearing that there is no IR on it anymore. Looking at the pictures of the top it looks like an mic and not the IR Blaster.

They should have went the same route as they did on the E5...a sim slot and a secondary hybrid sim/sdcard slot meaning you could have a nano sim and a secondary micro-simcard I'm or a nano sim and a sdcard:

They still can go that route. No pictures of the sides. They are always covering it.

I have never been a fan of the IR blaster. Before they started using the IR all of my television guides worked via WiFi so you didn't even have to pick the phone/tablet up to change the channel. Now, with the IR, you must have line of sight which doesn't work very well due to the height of my couch. I definitely wish they would go back to wifi remote control.

First world problems!

Right, although a lot of people still rely on IR, many have gone to wifi or at least RF with equipment hidden in a cabinet.

Aren't garage door openers RF? That could be the ticket...

Looks like something is under the Volume control when blown up. Could it be a MicroSD Slot or power button?
