    Hey everyone!

Sooo, I've been having a lot of problems with my Incredible. It was working all right for a time, and now it gets stuck in an endless bootloop. Sometimes I can get it started, but it normally only stays on for a few seconds. I can get into bootloader just fine, and I've tried a factory reset a few times, but most of the time it never finishes and reboots itself. I also loaded the PB31IMG.zip onto my FAT32 sd card, and it updates successfully, but the problem persists.

Now here's the interesting part. I noticed that the battery would get pretty warm without doing much of anything, so I decided to cool it off in the fridge for a minute or so. I reinserted the battery, and I got my phone to boot up longer than I have in a few days. Could this problem just be the battery? and in that case, would replacing the battery solve the problem?

If anyone has any advice I would seriously appreciate it. Oh, and the phone is stock, not rooted. Thanks!

It could be the battery causing an issue. When in hboot the cpu is running at max constantly the longer you are in hboot the more heat you will get.
