Just curious, does it take anyone else's Droid a crazy long time to rebuild the database (or whatever it is that it does) in the gallery app after you've copied over new pictures and videos onto the SD card? On mine it just sits there saying "Loading" (this text will appear for a few seconds, then disappear for a few seconds, then reappear, etc.) for a long time before it finally presents the gallery to me.

I'm using the 2.1 gallery app with Bugless Beast 1.1, and my phone is OC'ed to 800 MHz.

I also saw the exact same issue with Smoked Glass 6.0.1, so I know it isn't the ROM.

This doesn't deserve to just be ignored. Bump.

Mine does the same thing. When I take a pic I pretty much have to restart the phone to get it to show up in my gallery. Others have said it takes hours for their photos to show up in gallery. Come on Droid get it together!

Does 2.2 still use the same 3D gallery app?
