    Does anybody know exactly what the animations are for? When you go to settings>display it gives you the option to turn them off. I'm just wondering what animations its referring to exactly.

    As each widow opens it either pops into place or it sort of zooms into place when they close, the animations is reversed. Try turning it off and running a few things.

    There are other animations as well but this one is a good example.
