I know that the first beta version and beta2 both work on SS v4.7 haven't used another ROM since SS v4.7 came out. So I don't think it's the ROM.

Not sure what the problem is, both versions have worked on my phone so far.

Neither Beta works on my phone - SS4.7 w/p3droid kernel @ 1100 mhz. Maybe I'll try a different kernel and see if that helps.

Nope, went back to a Chevy LV 1.1ghz kernel and Beta 2 still won't run. But it's not a total loss; I forgot how smooth my phone runs with Chevy's kernels. :) It just gets hot and that makes me nervous.

I have no trouble running angry birds.
Might have redraws and some other issues but this works fine.

I initially couldn't run Angry Birds, and I had noticed that when I reflashed the rom weeks ago, it didn't have patches 1 and 2. After installing the patches, it worked flawlessly.

D'OH! I forgot that I had wiped my phone and reinstalled SS4.7 from scratch but ASSuMEd that the patches were included. I applied both patches today and now am feeling some Angry Birds love!

Thanks for the insight, TedWilliams. :)

With both patches installed I was having issues installing Beta 2. Installing the app with DDMS running I found that it was indeed a permissions issue. After trying to fix things manually I ran out of patience and tried the "Fix Permissions" script in ChevyNo1 Tools. That did NOT work. Then I ran the "Fix Permissions" script in ROM Manager and that fixed the issue for me.

    Hope this helps!
