My "stock" Bionic had practically ground to a halt. Everything was slow - screen response, browsing, WiFi connections, even the one thing that supposed to work, the phone function. I was ready to upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S4, but Verizon has given me $10/month off my bill until I upgrade, so I wanted to milk that deal for awhile. However, the phone was slowly becoming unusable.
This morning I let Google Play install the 5/27/14 Google Chrome update (35.0.1916.138). Right after that I didn't use the phone so I didn't notice anything different, but on the way to work I heard the sound of the phone restarting itself. Since then it has worked like it was brand new! It seems too good to be true, so I'm watching to see if performance drops off again, but so far so good.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
