I can say that my Huawei Watch does not vibrate when I move away from the smartphone. Anyone with the same smartwatch can confirm this, please?

It varies by which watch face software you use. I use watchmaker and there is an option to buzz once when you lose sync with phone(out of range) and buzz twice when reconnect.

I'm using the stock watchface "Moon phase", could that be the culprit?

There's an option in the wear settings inside the developer settings in the watch I believe that will allow you to activate that.

Thanks for the reminder. I totally forgot about that option on the watch. I think some watch faces have the option built in and many don't. But that setting in developer options should force a vibrate on connect / disconnect regardless of watch face.

I've seen headline saying that some devices are getting it again. Mostly Fossil & a couple other brands, but not any of the of brands like Moto & LG from what I've seen.
