Do you hear that loud marching sound that is making the ground rumble? That's the sound of Androids proliferating across the Earth. Google shared its latest numbers, and they are pretty mind-boggling. Google is up to 1.3 Million activations per day, and a grand total of 500 Million+ total installs world-wide.

An interesting side-note is that they brought back a new Jelly Bean statue for their front yard. Let's intend this one doesn't melt or get pilfered like the last one. :)

    Nice!

P.s. Your title numbers don't match up with your post numbers.

Fix your title (it says 1.3 activations which is not so amazing). But 1.3M per day is a huge number!

I am sure it is, but I'd like proof...but is it new activation. As in a new Android Customer. Not an upgrade phone or something. I got my S3 in July and upgraded from a DroidX, but that doesnt' make me a new convert. My Dad however is.
