Android Gingerbread Kernel for Droid. W Is anyone building one.

    im currently working on compiling the latest kernel for our device. (2.6.35)
    i satarted working on it then saw this thread ha

    any way its probably close to impossible, but ill try.

    I dont understand why the kernel source is out but we cant do anything with it, is it a problem with the modules?

    I think the "general" kernel source is out, which lacks the proper drivers / hardware references for our OMAP chipset. That's the impression I got, but I'm often wrong. Jeff could probably elaborate / correct me.

    Are those kernals actually built from gb source? I was under the impression they were essentially lfy/slayher kernals that were optimized for LGB (i.e slightly higher voltages)

    hmmmm..... Not sure. Check and see. Im not running a GB ROM yet, so not actually sure if it really would.:icon_eek:

    the LGB raidzero "gingerbread" kernels are in fact 2.6.32.9. I just checked.
