Hi Everyone,
With Android device manager you can only erase, lock or unlock? It's not meant to actually retrieve data, right? Thanks in advance for your answers. :p

Hi, I read somewhere (can't remember where) that if your phone is locked and you just want to unlock it but not retrieve data, you can click on Lock even though it's the opposite of what you want.

If you click on Lock, it will ask for a new password to change the login passcode. It doesn't unlock.

Thanks for your answer, so in a way it does help you unlock your phone by helping you reset your password in case you forgot it, right? :D

Yes, that's one way of looking at it.
