Android 5.1 OTA Update Rolling Out To LG G Pad 8.3 GPE

Most of the Nexus devices have been updated to 5.1. It looks like Google is beginning to push out the 5.1 update to the Google Play Edition lineup now! The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition is starting to receive the newest version of Android. If you are currently running stock software you can head to your devices settings, then click about tablet, and system updates. This will scan for updates, if it is available you will be presented with the option to accept the update. If you are already on 5.0 the new update will come in at about 200mb. Its pretty cool that a device from 2013 is still being updated by Google! The Nexus 9 has still not received this update! If your device is rooted with custom recovery updating from the settings won't work, and you may have to flash back to stock.
