I have a Galaxy 5 and have not yet downloaded Lollipop, I've read too many negative posts about all the bugs. I know in general that most who take the time to post are those who are unhappy with it, and there are probably many more who love it that aren't posting. But I still can't bring myself to do it yet, although I would love to have the latest OS. Wonder at what point they will fix the majority of the bugs?
Probably be even longer for those of us who have a Galaxy Tab S (wifi), hell, I am still waiting for CyanogenMod's lollipop to show up for the S4 and I'm not talking about nightlies, but I have a feeling because of 5.1 being released not that long ago by Google is what they are working on to release.
I didn't notice any bugs on my Nexus 6 with 5.0, 5.01 or my current 5.1.
In fact I can't tell the difference.
Is everyone else getting the pop ups trying to get you to sign up for candy crush and a bunch of other games?
Have had lots of business with lollipop since donload on my Samsung Alpha. Was impressed up until lollipop caused multi issues, like auto on speakerphone that can't be disabled.
I have never hated an Android update more than I hate Lollipop. My list of complaints is a mile long. I'm considering a phone root and putting v4 back on there. Awful update.
If you haven't' done the update to Lollipop and your phone is working fine don't update!
Hopefully the write issue with SD cards has been fixed but I fear this would be too much to expect.
So far, my Moto-G has been runnning flawlessly on KK 4.44.
No need to switch now, especially with the unstable nature of Lollipop. My phone works, is stable, and I will wait....
Live long & prosper!
You have an app pushing advertisements. You'll need to find and uninstall it to get those to stop.
Just downloaded 5.0.1 to my Note 4 and everything seems ok.
