I'm thinking of upgrading to Droid Charge. Does it have or will is upgrade to Android 2.3 out of box?

I had the droid charge for about 2 weeks and absolutely hated it. Touchwiz was awful. It was so laggy even after a 3rd party launcher. The memory is awful aswell, its just an all around horrible phone. I DO NOT recommend it

I have the Droid Charge, and have not had any issues as google.me.bruh and the gingerbread build is rumored to be completed. The release version is EP1W and another rumor it supposed to have TW 4.0 which is leap and bounds better than TW 3.0.

Now, if you want a Nexus phone on VZW then 11/3 is supposed to be the date it will arrive.

I have had 3 samsung phones, no problems with any of them. I have had the charge since it came out, no problems. Works great, screen is awesome and battery life is decent. I hope they update os soon, but they have no obligation to do so. If you want a certain version, the only sure way to get it is to buy a phone that comes with it.

We all have our own opinions, but I would have to agree with the previous 2 posts. I love my Charge and have never thought twice about the memory. It runs very well and I currently have 102 apps installed. I often have several running at a time. Rooting and/or flashing custom roms will take care of the lag if that's something a person wants to do. It has been typical that launcher lags a bit on stock, but not anything that inhibits the phone to the point it's unusable.
