    What a disappointing turd.

    Lack of homescreens - fail.
Lack of landscape home screen - fail
Lack of 3d app drawer - fail
Lack of smoothly running UI - fail

That's all I have to say.

    Mine says 2.1-update1.

Sounds to me like there's more on the way.

yeah 2.1 doesn't have much to at least not enough where grown men was crying about it begging to know when it will come out. The community just hyped it up way too much, it was bound to be a let down.
But its probably a foundation for more updates, plus i like live wallpaper, can't wait to see some customs ones.
But now i think i can finally root, well i might wait until i'm up to a free upgrade first... damn 20 months to go...

The Droid has a separate GPU that the Nexus does not have. So while the processor on the Nexus is faster, it doesn't give the Nexus an overwhelming advantage.

Live wallpapers just needed to be tweaked for the Droid. They run perfect for me on UD.

You can solve all those issues by installing HelixLauncher from the android market, i have 7 home screens, a dock with hold 4 apps, a new app drawer but it isn't 3d but thats not really that important to me, it auto rotates so you can have landscape home screen and it is fast switching home screens. I've been running it since i manually updated to 2.1 on friday and i haven't had a single force close yet. And the best part is its free

What an impressive piece of software.

Pinch to zoom in browser, and gallery. -Win.
    Security and bugfixes -Win.
Increased call quality and battery life -Win.
    Live wallpapers -Win.
Ability to 2.1 apps like Google Earth -Win.
    Voice to text -Win.

Compared to what you would get new in BB OS:

    --Nothing.

    Winmo

    --Nothing.

You are complaining about cosmetic bullcrap that can be worked around with other apps.
