Android 2.1 vs 2.2

Hi,

What are the major differences between the two versions?are they significant?

2.2 has flash support, better looking UI, faster, etc. the list goes on...Android truly does get better with every update

Do u know if 2.2 support more languages fonts?
I know that in 2.1 you must root in order to support other fonts, but i've been told that in 2.2 it works without rooting...

Well looking through my keyboard settings i can choose a bunch more languages other than english so I guess it does
