    Hello Everyone!

I am currently rooted on 2.0.1 and I understand that OTA updates are blocked. Originally, I decided to root my Droid in order to overclock it and tether. It seems like there are a lot of bugs in the 2.1 roms that are out now. Would it be smarter to restore to factory settings and wait for the 2.1 OTA update? I would lose my overclock, but root access should be obtained for the official 2.1 soon anyway and there are apps on the market for tethering.

Thanks for your advice in advance.

I wouldn't bother. Just hold out til something comes around BUT blackdroids 2.1 is crazy stable all the way up to a gig... and has wifi tethering. The market apps for tethering.g are a joke.

In the Droid hacking section of the forums. Look for blackdroid and download the 7.8 version of ultimate. Then read up on how to do install with update.zip or nandroid, your choice
