I have a Moto E and Moto G phone and I need to install a couple of apps. The problem/catch is that I will not use Google Play & I the phones do not come with a native file manager (i.e. if i download an APK I can't navigate to it to install it). So how can I do it? I also won't be using Google Chrome. I absolutely refuse to create a gmail account.

Thanks.

That's an interesting view. The only way I know to achieve this is via root and pushing a file explorer to your device using recovery.
