    Hey guys,

Has anyone else noticed that on the AMOLED screen there are faint thin vertical lines. You can see it better on certain background colors, like brown / grey / dark green. I tried to take it back to the Verizon store but they were just lying out of they pie holes telling me they did not see it so they wouldn't do anything about it.

it looks kind of like the attached picture from the engadget review of the nexus s.

I'll admit it's hard to see, but it's there if you look closely enough, and long enough, which would be us who actually own the phone and use it. You can even notice the thin lines on the email app. At first i thought it was some kind of texturing, but it's definitely not because they don't move with the screen image.

Also, I think I noticed a thicker line that's not completely vertical, but looks more like something stuck behind the screen, maybe between the glass and the LEDs, it's clear so you can see the picture through it, but it looks like a worm, or like those floaters in your eyes. (Floater - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Any help and response would be great!

Mine had stripes when the screen came on. I exchanged it. If it's anything like a computer, that's as sign that something (on a computer, the video card, but I don't know what's comparable in phone) is dying. The new one is fine. Are you sure yours isn't defective?

Yea i ended up getting it replaced. The store reps were just being jerks telling me they didn't see what i saw. I don't think its graphics related but rather screen related. New one is much better.

Switched mine out and even though the old one and new one were revision 6, the new one is much better. Although there are some lines, you cannot see them and they may just be the grid. The dark lines from the old one are gone. If you have this problem, i suggest you switch your phone out. And i have pictures of the lines from my old phone
