can anyone tell me how to get it to stop auto downloading the app of the day? it's using over a gig of space and cannot get that space back.

Would think it would be somewhere in your settings...Mine never auto downloads anything.

If you can't figure out how to turn it off then I recommend you enable background data, set a limit you'll never reach (if you're unlimited) and then kill any background processes to the Amazon app.

it's done it since the last update. never changed any settings.
