I did something similar. Instead of dropping it in the toilet, I left from the store and had a brand new droid in my hand. I get home and carry a bunch of stuff in the house with my droid on top of the stuff and whoops. It slides off and goes screen first into the concrete. Needless to say it majorly cracked the screen. It had a protector on it too and it still cracked, but oh well. Funny part was, the touch screen still worked even though it was cracked to pieces. Weird...
